Although we all know Nandos, it’s new restaraunt in the Farringdon area is situated right beside the train station. I must admit I’m a lover of Nandos food, it’s delicious, healthy and a great reliable place to eat. It’s safe to say I have visited many Nandos eateries, but I’ve never seen such a beautifully decked out Nandos restaraunt. I mean, just take a look at those lampshades! With plenty of copper detailing, rustic wooden textures and plenty of mustard coloured walls, I was transported to decor heaven!
So, what did we eat? Well, Dave chose the Fillet Steak Prego Roll with classic sides of chips and garlic bread. I eventually decided on the butterfly chicken, marinated with lemon and herbs. For sides I went with the sweet potato wedges and salad on the side. Now let me tell you about these Nandos potato wedges, a recent addition to the menu. They are a must have, you get five roasted wedges with an amazing creamy coriander dip plus sesame & roasted seeds. I really enjoyed the wedges, the creamy dip complemented them and the roasted seeds on top were just the perfect mix of texture and flavours; just brilliant! I am defiantly having that again!
…and don’t get me started on the many desert options, way too tempting, check out the menu, you won’t be disappointed.
If you haven’t been to a Nando’s in a while, it is definitely worth a visit. The menu has some exciting new additions and there is something for everyone. To find your nearest Nandos, click here.
