At the end of last summer, embroidery was having it’s moment in fashion. All the high street stores adorned their windows and mannequin’s with bomber jackets, dresses, jumpers and even bags. It’s been one of my favourite fashion trends and has thankfully carried me over to the colder months.
This beaut of a jumper is from Rowme and it’s currently on sale too; as soon as I spotted it, I knew it had to be mine, I mean just look at that gorgeous oriental style embroidery. I really like how at first glance, this looks like a plain khaki sweater but on closer inspection, the sleeves hint to you with a sneak peak, leading you to the back, where the main embroidery party is going on.
For its first outing I chose a casual look, but I can totally see it working well with my pleather midi skirt and ankle boots for a more glam look. This time, I teamed it with a corduroy skirt, keeping real casual with my new ‘old skool’ Vans – thank you Santa Claus (aka Dave). Well, as it was a bit nippy outside, our bleak January weather has kicked in here in the UK, I threw on my parka and a beanie hat for fashionable warmth. I think both of these elements work hand in hand with the casual vibe I was going for, just perfect for our Sunday dog walk over on the common.
Ok, so now I’m off to browse the Rowme website in search of one or two more ’embroidery must-haves’, be sure to check out their site, they have lots of great sale discounts ready for you to discover!
