Retro Style!
Oh my, I think this is the least amount of clothes I’ve ever worn on the blog and to say it’s daunting would be a massive understatement! The reason for so little clothing is to show you this super cute bikini from Surania – you custom design you’re swimsuit or bikini. I opted for this high waisted bikini, now I haven’t worn a bikini in years, and I mean years! I’ve never felt body confident and I still don’t, but I was on holiday and I didn’t know anyone so thought why not, as I write this post I’m still unsure whether I’ll be posting or keeping this as a draft…
One of the reasons for choosing the bikini over a swimsuit is I found the bikini’s to be much cuter than the swimsuits, it was the frilly edge on the top that swung it for me! Plus the high waisted bottoms hides the majority of my wobbly belly (I am working on getting this smaller but more on that soon).
As for the design, I opted for the 1950’s style high waisted bottoms with classic top with frilly edge, for the print and colours I kept with the classic vibes and went for a red gingham with a white edged frill on the top and split red and gingham bottoms. It was so much fun designing and customising my suit, I kept changing my mind about print and style of suit. I will defiantly be heading back to Surania for any other swimsuit needs in future!
